(1) Birta custom in Nepal has been abolished from the date of commencement of this Act and all Birta lands up to the date of commencement of this Act have been abolished.
(2) All the birta lands in Nepal that have been abolished in accordance with sub-section (1) shall be converted into rakers and the ownership of the land shall be transferred to the Government of Nepal and the rights and rights related to the land ownership of the birtawals existing in such birta lands before the commencement of this Act shall be deemed to be automatically terminated.
(3) Acts, questions, sanads or any other written documents that have or remain the rights and rights of a person in Birta land are repealed and revoked from the date of commencement of this Act.
